This archaeological centre is located in Casal de Ferreirós, an old rural house of high social status that has been restored and is now part of the heritage of Poio. It also houses the Tourist Information Office.
The centre is part of the Galician Archaeological Heritage Network and contains a permanent exhibition room with panels telling the story of the discovery of the petroglyphs of A Caeira and information about rock art in the Bronze Age. It also has a screening room.
