This viewpoint shares a 4.4 km long hiking route with the Cruz de Lobeira overlook.
It has a monolith that is 9 metres in height, with metallic stairs to get to the top. A smaller monolith if placed on top of it, crowned by a stainless steel sculpture: three waning moons that reflect the sun depending on the time of the day. The sculpture was created by Manolo Chazo in 2002.
It offers views of the Ría de Arousa estuary, facing the Barbanza peninsula, with Vilagarcía de Arousa, Vilanova, A Illa de Arousa, Cambados and O Grove in the south, and Monte Lobeira hill and O Salnés valley in the east.
