Construction included in the Galician Cultural Heritage Catalogue with the code GA36034049. Located over the Termes river in Mirenciños, Vide. Even though some said that the bridge had been built during the Roman period, it is probably a product of the High Middle Ages. The bridge has only one slightly pointed ashlar arch, about 5 m high and 7.5 m wide. Its granite masonry is well supported by rocky formations on both riverbanks, fact that explains its well preserved shape. Inside the arch there are several Mason’s marks. The bridge is 20 m long and 3.30 m wide and is part of the tourist route known as “Camiño dos Frades” (Way of the Friars). Legend has it that the Queen Isabel of Portugal (1274-1336) walked through it on her way towards Santiago.
