Built in the second half of the 18th century by the Torre de Asadelos family, the steps with a granite parapet, the coats of arms with the family lineage and the main entrance are all striking. This Pazo was home to Joaquín Antonio Torrado, Mayor of Cambados and one of the persons who led the resistance of the Salnés area against the French invasion in 1809. In 1939, at the behest of its owner, an old people’s home was opened, but the lack of space meant this was moved to the Pazo de Montesacro. It was acquired by the Cambados Council and is currently use as a temporary exhibitions room
