This church dates from the 16th century, although almost nothing from this period has been preserved. Today it has a single barrel-vaulted nave with a rectangular rib-vaulted high altar. The original plan was similar to the current one, with the rib-vaulted chancel and funerary chapel where the founder’s sepulchre is situated. It has a statue of him holding a sword against his chest with his left hand, his head on his right hand and his feet symbolising his faithfulness.
