Archaeological site found by chance in 1983. Evidence suggests this castro or hillfort settlement was occupied for a short time in the 7th century, which makes it very interesting to experts because it belongs to a very early period. It had a defensive system of concentric ditches and walls with corridors between them. Some of the artefacts recovered from the site include decorated pottery and objects made of bronze and iron
