In Redondelo there is a set of modern style works on a rocky slope of the Coto do Facho hill (184 m). From there we can enjoy suberb views over the Miño River. It is formed by several sculptures made of different materials. The most representative one is “O Xigante” (The Giant), which portrays a giant that took a seat to enjoy the beautiful panoramic views available from the place. It was immortalised in concrete by Mario Iglesias González. Another of this works is the one known as “Punto de Partida” (Starting Point). It is composed by four steel doors, each one with a different opening and marking the four cardinal points. Its author is Carlos Tejo. A granite circumference with simple doll drawings is located next to the road. Its author is Manuel Rial Pérez and it has no title. The last of the sculptures, called “Sendeiro do Coñecemento” (Knowledge Path), is made up of metal footsteps on the ground that climb up to the rock. It was made by José Luis Pereira Rodríguez.
